Here is a little iPhone app that may be useful when it comes to staying organized in editing. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dslr-slate/id374241045?mt=8
yo i know yall are probably annoyed at this whole zombie thing, but forreal i think it could be really tight. i dunno a bout a plot or storyboard or anything, but the general theme of the track is 'transformation' and 'starting a movement,' which i think could work well. a zombie movement? or anti-zombie movement, like reformed zombies trying to do something with their lives? a life of zombie-dom saved by music? a zombies anonymous meeting? a zombie inc. board meeting complete with powerpoint presentations of plans for growth and development? zombies turned hippie zombies that prefer tofu and hacky sack to brains and terror? i think theres a ton of material here, and it could be pretty funny. and yeah, the zombie crawl could provide some great b-roll, despite being beyond much control. another thing we could do is hand out business cards w contact info at the crawl and invite anyone who wants to dress up in their zombie get-ups again to come to our show the 26th at the aggie in foco. we could even try and rent a party bus to bring any denver zombies down there. then we shoot the live show with us as zombies and we also have zombies scattered throughout the crowd. i think itd be tight to have some spoken scenes without music in the beginning middle and end adding a little bit of plot to make the video a little more cinematic. there was this guy michael jackson that did some video kinda like that and i think people really liked it. but, you know, almost like a homage to thriller but funny. no overt allusions to the real video, just the general structure and theme done differently and humorously. lemme kno if yall have any ideas on this or whether you think its completely ridiculous. thanks again guys. ease. dilly
Here are some initial ideas that we have come up with. We are definitely open to mixing and matching if you like things from multiple sets of boards. Also these are initial boards, so they are meant to look rough. If you guys arent feelin it let us know what we can be doing to get back on track. Our next set of boards is due on the 20th, and we will have more stylized versions as these go on. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and comments.

We talked a little bit about the idea of you guys playing in a studio where there is a hurricane or other natural disasters going on behind/around you. We also spoke a little bit about an idea where you guys had floating heads, hands and feet.
If we could get a copy of the tracks so we could take a listen that would be great!
We also had spoken about scheduling our big shoot on the weekend of Oct 23rd. Once we have a few concepts and a little more direction for you guys we can start talking about locations and what we are going to need to get this done.
Feel free to email or call me if you have any questions.
